Yes, they will look wild! Some like it tame while some like it wild... it's a never-ending self discovery

That red guppy is still in there?

err... the red guppy have been in there for a few generation of tanks.. but after i added 12 threadfin rainbow fishes, it seems to be disturbing them..(maybe the threadfin rainbowfish's fins looks too tasty) have since throw it in my tub where by i top up water day by day.. its still surviving.. truely a never say die guppy!

    update!
full tank shot.. sorry about that big log.. have been to a few lfs but yet to see them selling decent amount of healthy xmas moss.. still in the search.. basically, that log will be tied with moss and needleleave fern in a "wild" way(yes wild again, i love them wild!) i believe i will have to drain the water away(will do a 50% WC together) then able to tie..

the Potamogeton gayi is growing pretty well also..

added some xmas moss at the top branch.. pretty good effect..

the well-known hard to grow tonina 'manuas' have been growing pretty slowly.. look at that right stem.. the top part seems to be "deforming"

    red plant id?

jap hg and glosso.. jap hg i see no growth at all..

my glosso seems to be growing taller! have increased light duration to 8hours(from 6 hours) and removed the light stand.. maybe 2x24watt isn't enough..

Re: EvolutionZ's new 2ft planted tank journal.

found my 15watt FL light with a pretty new hitachi white tube(yellowish i think 67k type) that i used for a short time for my pleco tank.. so no harm adding in.. i was quite happy with the result.. this yellowish light blend in pretty well with the t5ho's blueish light.

now it looks like as if i got a cover for my 2ft.

HG takes some time to kick start, but once they start growing, it will be awesome.

Looking forward to your foreground and hope you can tame it to showcase both plants.

i have plans to use E.tenellus to replace the moss lawn.. need to visit uncle richard(colourful) once again.. now im planning for a full glosso lawn but having sticks of jap hg leaves sticking out.. i believe if nicely trimmed.. it should look wild and nice.

bro you removed your light stand got to be careful that the light does not drop in the water.. may be quite risky..

A very good point there. Although you have that small strip of bracing, there is still a small probability that the fixture will somehow slide into the water. Since you have added 15W yesterday, maybe you can counter balance that by adding back the "legs"?
