    Hi guys

Another "secret" project to reveal this week

Actually, I really have no idea what I am doing with this tank! I have gotten so bored with things and sorta desperate for the feeling of newness.

    So here's my new creation

    A tank within a tank

    Re: Je師is Dual Vision Tank

    Here is how it works...

    1) A 10L Dennerle tank sit inside an ADA 1ft cube tank!
    2) The Eheim Ecco filter will "suck" water from the ADA tank and release water onto the 10L via Do!aqua Poppy Glass outlet, creating a cascading effect on the glass edges of the 10L tank.

The idea is to have a fully lush 10L tank at the core with Taiwan moss surrounding it. I am looking for a suitable lighting to only illuminate the cube... something like a long range spotlight

Already pumping in CO2 using solenoid.

    What do you guys think?

Nice tank. Well just let the rotala to fill up , it will be very nice. You didnt sell your 1ft tank after you decommed your Apisto + Riccia tank. Nice but scared that the foreground from white will turn yellowish. Other than that its perfectly fine. Not to mention the crystal clear water. What faunas you will be housing in it?

    Cheers!

Indeed an eye opener! Dennerle + ADA tank! Cool Idea you have there!!!
Anyway, how the Co2 will enter the Dennerle tank?

Yeah I kept the tank after I decommissioned. I have no idea what to keep yet, but am exploring the idea of keeping 2 species which cannot tolerate each other, 1 inside and 1 outside Any suggestion?

Will have to keep some hardworking shrimps/snails to keep the white sand clean

Well the dissolved CO2 will have to pass through the canister but I'm not pumping large quantity of CO2... don't think this will affect the biological filtration at work. Any expert can give some pointers on this specific issue?

Superb! This is ingenious. Now the question i have is: Is the 10L tank inside completely level? If it is the cascading water will flow all around the inside tank, if not, it'll flow out of the lower side of the tank looking uneaven.

Simply brilliant idea though, very well executed too!

    Well, how about trying apistogrammas
I doubt it will work. Never have any experience before. But after going thorough the filter, i think the Co2 are already gone. So maybe you try using external diffuser instead? If you looking for nicer ones, try Cal Aqua's Inline Diffuser.

Well wish you the best of this tank.

Jervis, how would you clean the glass for both tank if there are algae?
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.

Those sugary white sand. Gex brand if I'm not mistaken... left over from a long time ago.

Emm... there will be constant flaring Probably too stressful for them in the long run. I am considering keeping a single betta inside the small tank... due to lack of swimming space.

    Re: Je師is Dual Vision Tank

Wow bro, you must really have nothing else to scape to think of placing a smaller tank into a bigger one.

Maybe the reason why you have run out of scapes is that you do not have the financial problems that most of us have when it comes to his hobby, hence, you can do whatever you want and in whatever quantity. I am not saying this to poke at you or anything like that but you get my drift.

Perhaps finally do a project that you would need to do some saving up and lots of planning? Maybe a 10 feet tank? My current iwagumi is so worth it and feels new to me everyday because of the months I had to save up and plan.

An example I can think of is Mr Amano.. he has scape countless of tanks and I bet at times he feels tired too. But his personal tank and scape has been around with him for years, I think part of the reason why he will never get sick of that tank is because it is just so awesome and one of a kind.

You have the ability to bring it up to that level, so why not? Maybe that is what you need.

Anyway, I am always looking forward to this current scape.. I do not think anyone has tried this before, very interested to see how it turns out.

LED spotlight can will do the trick on shinning at just the small tank.

You can get those table lamps with spot lights. And replace it with LED spotlight

Something like this will look nice. http://www.tradeshowplus.com/Lumina_...ht_p/lum-6.htm

    Re: Je師is Dual Vision Tank

I did a similar setup a nano tank above the water within a pond. One problem I faced:
    - fish/ shrimps tend to escape through the overflow. Netting may solve the problem but don't look nice.
