Neat little scape, i like the dark sides and little nooks and crannies. Makes it feel very homey for your fauna.
Any information on things such as lighting, substrate, ferts at all?

Rescaped my 45 x 19 x 21 cm tank 2 weeks ago using mostly matured water and here it is how it looks now:-
Flora are Japanese Hairgrass, Mini nana, Blyxa Japonica, Echinodorus quadricostatus, Java Fern, and a little of E.Tellenus.
Fauna includes 2 male, 3 female Endlers plus 6 fries. Also added a Oto few days ago.
This was how it looks after the initial setup:-
The unknown crypt melted after a few days so in the end decided to use all the Blyxa Japonica I have in hand. The Echinodorus quadricostatus were all quite small when I put it in but now most of the leaves are taller than my Blyxa Japonica.

Thanks guysSpecs updated in the first post. By the way just another pic to show the whole setup. The pico tank below is a snail only tank. Whenever I sees snails in the main tank I will catch them and transferred them to the one below. Currently there are about 8 snails now. Ramshorn and Pond snail.......

Nice! I have a 1.5ft as well and can relate to the considerations you had to go through choosing the scape materials. Cheers!![]()

I surprise the rack can support the weight of the tank.

eh wads that bottle of thing?

small update:
Transferred and separated my breeding Endlers and fries into another 2 separate tanks. Now this tank has only a Oto left.
Also change my lousy Boyu EF-05 to a Eden 501 and used a mini skimmer from a brandless HOF and coupled it to the inlet of the 501Who says nano tank can't fit a skimmer to a canister inlet??
Pics:-
The 2 new tanks for my endlers... smaller tank is the fry tank.

Apologies for the lousy pics.![]()
You've filled your main tank mightily high. If i'd filled it that high i know for a fact i'd put my hands in forgetting quite how much the water would rise in doing so - water everywhere. Haha.
If you've removed the endlers permanently it might be worth increasing the livestock in your main tank. Perhaps just add in 2 or 3 more oto's?

Would like to know how you did up the fan. Is it a DIY? Maybe I should go try the DIY CO2 setup as well. Jap HG creeping too slowly.

I usually decrease the water level before putting my hands in or else I uses a long pincer. It's not going to be permanently. I will be putting a few males in only for display. The rest are like I said, in my breeding tank or fry tank. Don't want to over populate the tank if they are going to breed in it.
Yup it is a diy fan. The fan clip is actually a piece of stand which comes with this tank. It is actually used for holding the cover.

Unfortunately this setup had been infested by some some unknown snails.... Tore it down 2 days ago and restart it all over again.
