Congrats, neurogen. Enjoy the pleasure of raising the fries and watching the fish caring the brood.
If the male is not too aggressive, you can let him be a good father in the tank.
It's a pair of agassizi "fire red" right?

It looks like a normal Ap agassizii "Super Red" variant
Its Ap agassizii, but with regards to which sub-variant, i'm not too sure.
Its a "Super Red" variant, not Fire Red

regardless of the variant, congrats on your spawn!
The eggs were gone. The female has eaten them! Anyway, i'm still preparing the BBS as i discovered my German rams has spawned without my knowledge! Tiny fries swimming around the parents now
Sad to hear that, but congrats on your ram spawn. Anyway, can the parents be removed once the eggs have been laid so that any mishaps can be prevented?
Check again, maybe the female has shifted the eggs elsewhere . It happened to me, my first pair of apisto actually shifted the eggs twice as i do not have any cave for them.
The eggs might have hatch.
Look around the female area.
