I got this male betta sitting next to the female and it is not even flaring at her. Can anyone help? What should I do to make it flare again? Betta is supposed to be agrressive fish, but it has turned sissy.

Tried using a mirror? Or another male?

Maybe 1st thing is to check for sickness. If it just lies around, it might just be sick. Try some Japanese Yellow powder.

    Does it still feed normally??

Try a water change and place it between a female and a male... This may kick start the jealousy index..

Or it may be a wussy after all... hehehe (j/k)

I would not add any of this "yellow powder", or any other medication, until you determin what, if anything, is wrong with your betta.
Are his fins clamped? Is he eating? What size tank is he in? What is the pH? What other fish if any are with him? What are you feeding him? What is your filtration? How often do you do water changes? How long have you had him?
Currently keeping many wild betta species and other anabantoids.
