Yup, something might happen in the future. Take out 1/4 or even half of the water volume now and prepare to replace the tank. Prevention is always better than the cure.
Hi guys, need a little help here.
It just happen when I top-up my tank with age water suddenly one side of the center bracing came off. Will anything happen to the tank?Afraid it will leak or cause any disaster at home.

If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Replace the tank! I had a similar experience. My 3.5ft centre bracing came off when no one was at home. When I came home and saw my tank, it changed from a flat-front tank to a curved-front tank. Only after I emptied the tank did the front panel revert to its original flat surface (Hope you know what I mean). Best to quickly lower water level, transfer all your plants or fishes out, and find a new tank.

mine happen recently... i lower the water to half, then scrape away the loose silicon and then glue it back on both side (but becareful not to drop any silicon into the water, it will poison the fish). Almost 1 week now, now checking whether will is fall off again or not..
