Female is in superb condition. You might want to encourage seed shrimps in this tank, so the fry have a constant supply of food and the substrate is kept clean by these tiny scavengers.

Oh no, now my secret is out. hahaha the fish is not mine. burlpen is one of the few people in Malaysia keeping apistogrammas.

I had a brief chat with one of the JZX guy. Bringing in apistogramma species seems very difficult to make money. The shipment does not guaranteed that the fishes that they ordered are indeed true female and male pair. Most of the time, alot of them ended up sneaker male or smaller male posing as female. Plus some of them dead on arrival.
Not easy.
In the past all LFSs that deal with apistomgramma bascially all lose money big time from Far East Aquatic, Ecco Culture, Ah Hock, KingFisher, to Toh Farms. we must be glad that JZX still entertain a small group purist here in singapore.
