The center nut that tighten the Fan's propeller might became loosen, it happen to my Arctica previously.
Dear all,
Recently, I was given a Artica DBE-200 1/4hp chiller and after taking back did back flash and clean up the chiller. And I finally turn on the chiller to test with a pail of water with a pump and I notice the chiller was quiet until the fan kicks in. The sound of the fan is quite loud, I wonder if this is normal?
But the interesting thing is the chiller cool down the pail in less then 5 mins once the fan stop to sound was gone.
So far my experience with other chiller (China brand) was very quiet even when the fan was kick in.
Not sure is the fan due for change or is it because too long not in used.
Really appreciate your comments in advance! Thanks

How is the noise level now?
Yeah very true. Anyway now still too early to decide, when I get the approval for a 2ft then I will consider all my options again. Anyway, now that I can keep high grade CRS, I may not want a chiller for my next scape. Makes my room hot and a chiller is expensive! Haha.
