Wow what a collection thanks for sharing

Nice berried yellow shrimp too. Just to note yellow and red cherry shrimp do hybridise so if you wish to have more yellow shrimp you may want to kepp them separately. Cheers!

Re: Sharing pic of my cherry red shrimps and crabs

    Hi there

Are all thiese creatures in the same tank? And it lloks indeed like a tank, not an aquaterrarium. Metasesarma obesum, M. aubryi and Geosesarma sp. "Vampire" are highly terrestrial crabs, not aquatic ones.

    M. obesum is a terrestrial crab which needs some brackish water (a dish would be enough).
    M. aubryi is a highly terrestrial crab where a freshwater dish would be enough for moisture needs. They need a substrate in which they can dig their burrows.
    G. sp. "Vampire" ("Carnaval crab") would need an aquaterrarium with a small water part. They need a substrate in which they can dig their burrows either.
    Cheerio, BEASTIE ;-)

CRABS, Crayfish, Shrimp, Land hermits, Mussels & Snails, Dragons, Snakes and more in some 40 tanks

IMO temporarily a plastic tub will do but make sure its aerated and not overcrowded.

And make sure your aeration is not too strong for the temporary holding container...I learnt this lesson the hard way.

I am trying to create as much hiding place for my shrimps as i realised that the tetras do not go near to one of my moss. Not sure when lights off. Considering of rescaping and seperate them soon. Thanks for the tinker
