I'm back into this hobbyafter almost a twenty year absence. I have been watching my tank carefully for the last six weeks and came to the conclusion that I'm now ready to add some fish. I have a forty Gallon Tank which is something like 32 inches length, 20 inches tall and 16 inches wide.
I have fallen in love with these little guys and would like a variety of them in my tank. My only problem at this time is the size for my tank and was wondering if someone could tell me how many I could keep comfortably. I don't plan on breeding them at this time because of space restaints.
I know I would like Agassizi, Cacatuoides or Borellii at this tme since they seem easiest to keep and peaceful.
Thanks Cal![]()

Welcome back to the hobby! and AQ too!
I think you can keep a few pairs in your tank.
Just take note to provide lots of cover and break the line-of-sight as much as you can.

Hello Cal,
Welcome to the forum.
20 years break? Wow!
Glad you're back in the hobby.
I think with your tank specs, I would suggest at most 2 pairs of each species with loads of cover.
