Where to get CRS??

Hi,

just wondering where is a good place to get CRS at a reasonable price?
Are they packed in a packet or can we choose them ourselves?

I live in Sims Drive, the LFS there have some low grade CRS for sale.
Price is reasonable...can chose.
Also can buy from breeders - check the buy/sell threads and call breeders if they have available stock.

If you want to get the CRS at a reasonable price. There are a few LFS selling B & C grade CRS, they are cheaper.

You can try colorful LFS at Balestier Area, the CRS are packed it a bag of 10.

Seaview at Jalan Kaya selling 20 pcs in a bag.

If you want to choose the CRS, you can try C328 at clementi. The price is reasonable for a small B/C grade CRS.

I saw quite a number of packs of CRS at the 2 LFS at balestier. Got good grades one too

Lately can see more stocks in Colourful Aquarium. Generally, NA is having those higher grade one.

If you want to cherry pick one, then you can go to C328, Y618 or Hougang Ave 8. More often than not, other LFS are selling in packets.

Marsiling lfs has B grades for $5/pcs...Is that reasonable?

How much should I be looking at for C grades?

The price is a bit steep. Our friendly forummers here are selling them at lower price. Check out the buy/sell thread now and then and you should be able to see.

If convenient, the best quality and prices are almost always from forumers.

Otherwise I'd also recommend going down to Balestier Hill Shopping Centre to check out Colourful Aquarium and Nature Aquarium both there.

Caveat Emptor. When I was a newbie, I bought 20 grade A CRS at not so cheap price. Now I know they are at best grade C. I bought a nano fish tank with scratches from a nice and polite member for S$20/-. Now I know for $20 I can get a good new one. I blame myself............

Haha got "chopped" a few times too when I was a newbie - which was not too long ago
