how many shrimps in a 2 ft tank?

Hi all,
i need some help regarding some understandings about shrimpkeep. is there anyone who has the same problem as me?
I am currently have 100+sakuras. These shrimps are maturing so. And i wondering how many shrimps i can keep in a half-filled 2 feet tank.
1000?? there is no co2.

Should be OK, in my case, the shrimps some how can regulate their population according to the size of the tank. But in the case that rule don't apply, remove them when they start crawling over each other just to move about.

With sufficient aeration and filtration, I don't see any problem even if the numbers go up to 1000.
