The best I could remember is cherry bred like rabbits once condition is right.... how about the rest like Malayan (which is the cheapest), the CRS (which is one of the most expensive) and anything in between them?
Assuming I only want fast breeding shrimps regardless of price, algae efficiency, beauty etc... what should I invest in?

PS: If other shrimps (non aggressive type) not included, please let me know I will try to add them.

To me, yes, probably because I have a forest of java mosses, good hiding place for the baby malayan. Plus i have about 4 very productive adult female malayan shrimps at the moment, at least one of them will be pregnant at anytime.

Malayan breeds so easily that very often if you buy a bag of pre-pack bag of 100 pcs of malayan you can see hundred/thousands of baby malayan clouding the water when you pour out the water.. and your fish will be feasting on them..

oh I found lots of young yamato, malayan, and cherry shrimps in my friend's 4 ft tank. that day jus found a nest of cherry shrimps near the co2 difusser.

and i found malayan shrimps in my external filter too. hee hee. so they can clean up my filter too.

now i'm trying to breed cherry in my new mini tank. hope it works. just started today.
new tank, new filter, new lights, semi new water... wish me luck

    cheers

    Hi Ryo,

I hope you also have sufficient mosses for the shrimplets to hide if you intend to breed cherry in your new tank. All the best!
