Welcome to Singapore and welcome to the shrimp world.
Looking forward to see your new tank setup.

Hi everyone,
I'm a German living here in Singapore. Since the age of 11, I had aquariums in Germany, keeping mostly fish, but also shrimps & lobsters, and even some axolotl.
As I moved to Singapore, I had to leave them all behind, but once infected, it's hard to give up that hobby
So now I'm planning to 'start' my first aquarium here, already got the tank (60x45x45cm), but still looking for a rack, filter, etc.
So hopefully within the next few weeks (depends on my spare time, will travel back to Germany for 10 days soon) I'll be able to get everything started, and get some new roommates (planning shrimps only) soon.
Cheers!

Thanks
Although the 'welcome to Singapore' is not really necessary, as I have been living here for bit more than 2 years in total already, haha. But only now it's sort of 'definite', as I was here as a student before.

Oh, come on!
The next few weeks?!?
Strike while the iron is hot!
Since you will be back to the fatherland for 10 days why not start the cycling process before you go?
If its not too much trouble for you, can you post on the shrimp scene in Germany?
I know there are lots of knowledgeable enthusiast there.

Hehe, true, the plan is to get everything ready by end of next week (initial setup), as next week Saturday I'll leave.
Can't say much about the German shrimp scene, it's been a long time since I visited the (biggest?) German discussion board or got in contact with others.
