    Hi everyone, what is best flow rate for 2'x1.5'x1.5' tank (120 litres) can prevent all dead spot & not too strong flow for crs. Thanks

    i think 300-400l/h should suffice.. something like an eheim 2211 or 2213

    depend on your scape, what is your scape look? Iwagumi or jungle. My 2x1x1.2 ft with jungle scape using 2215 and my same size tank with Iwagumi scape using 2213. You can also add small pump to add flow on the dead spot area. Some people add wave maker.

    2211 and 2213 would not be enough, due to the height and width of your tank. Look for a filter with between 500-700L/H .

    Thank all for your reply,at present l'm using Atman CF600 which stated flowrate 740 l/hr, should be enough for 2ft tank . If l would connect to a 1/10 hp chiller is it enough.

    Flow rate is all good but what is more important is media area. ADA recommends using a filter that holds 10 percent of media when compared to your tank's volume. I get crystal clear water with this guideline.
