Feeding CRS with chicken heart

I like to go prawnsing, knowing that prawn fishing always use chicken heart as bait...

Anyone of you ever try feeding shrimps with chicken heart? Think of trying but worry of oil may create into water conditions..

I wonder how they going to bite the chicken heart. For prawning, i use Sarong and size 2 carbon hook.

my friends always got prawning and i've seen them using live bait! (those fish used for feeders) to go prawning and i the results are pretty good!

Skill/Bait/Luck are important factors for prawning, I have better skill than my wife but she always get more and bigger prawns than me.

Shrimps are clever on munching food, what I worry will it create oily to tank water..

I used small cat fish for prawnsing...

Punggol marina Pond (2 times) and Hougang Kovan pond (2 times) Catch rate low. Around 20 plus on average i would say for 3 hours.

Better don't feed your crs with chicken heart. Meaty food isn't good for them. Morever I guess the left over chicken heart will pollute the tank water.

Actually shrimps/prawns are scavengers right? Give them dead fish, they will also eat.

Hmm just for the sake of academic discussion - for I'm not sure if anyone would actually risk the lives of their precious CRS by doing so - I would say that fat should be the least of your concerns

Other than the fatty tissues that may surround the heart, the heart muscle itself is just that - pure muscle
