Guys
It's rather interesting for Master Amano to share with us his mishaps and algae/melting incidents.

We shall all take it as the ultimate encouragement the next time we faces similar mishaps.
Keep the passion going...

Knowing others, one is wise; knowing the self, one is enlightened. In conquering others, one is forceful; in conquering oneself, one is mighty.
Hehe-only the crypts melted but nobody's perfect. Even master cannot control the elements or A/C from breaking down.![]()
You can if you dare to fail - Stan Chung

If you happen to read AGA quaterly magazine, some time he will share problem than he face and how he overcome it.
On the Tropical Fish Hobbyist recently (if not mistake January edition), you can see green spot algae on the photo he used for the article. So yeah no body perfect
A lot of these incidents are beyond control, for example hot days + air-con broke down which is like a double-whammy. And it happens once in a blue moon I suppose.
Perhaps this will encourage more hobbyists to have the courage to acknowledge their mistakes/mishaps and seek help in the forum as there's nothing to be ashamed of. By sharing, we can also help each other to understand these potential problems better, and be better prepared too.
It's like trying to persuade patients with mental-illness or Aids to acknowledge, share their experiences and to accept who they are. Not easy the way we were brought up.

why need to be ashame should be proud once you able to overcome it.

All of us face problems everywhere. Other than avoiding them, we need to overcome these problems. If we can do it, we will improve.

William
