simon that means my rainbar will not be able to use? disconnect the rainbar from the tubing and attach the reactor there instead?

Can use the L-shape connectors to link the bottom output from the reactor to your existing rainbar, if this is the type of reactor you bought.

if you want you can hook the OUTPUT of the reactor to the rainbar. but that's lots of unsightly tubing you don't need

Not sure if I understand you correctly.

I also encountered some problem with connection between the CO2 reactor (UP brand) with my Eheim 2028 filter. There are two types of Eheim hose as far as I know -- the thicker one and the smaller diameter type. After some thought, I did something like in the diagram. Use the method of connection labelled "B" if your rainbar and your filter are using the bigger diameter hoses. Use connection "A" if only your rainbar uses the smaller diameter hose. Hope you get the idea. You need a short length of the smaller hose for this op.

is it possible if i change the hosing and input/output tubes of the filter to those from eheim and then use your type of connections?? coz the equipment of the filter very awkward... shaped like an inverted L.. guess is to facilitate the position of the input and output.. and the eheim ones i think are easier to handle..

    Juggler,
If I'm not wrong, the reactor outlet is small and the rainbar is big (to fit the bigger filter output hose). Your drawing indicated a small tubing for the rainbar.
    Cheers!!
