    I leave mine on when my light is switched on, says about 8 hours daily. Maybe you can try for a period of 4-6 hours daily to see the effect 1st.

    if not mistaken should be 24 hours but you can turn it off once water clear.

    Looking forward for your update blumarine. As mine is still having the same problem. With active carbon only minimize but not eliminating.

    Yes, its working, i would say after keeping the UV on for 3days, 80% improvment in my water clarity. will continue to on it, and hopefully it will achieve crytal clear water.

    Looks like not...after series of studies, one final action cleared my tank water back to normal. Just by increasing my CO2 bubble count for about a week...
