    Spotted fews Cherry on my tank, Dying every day 1 or 2 pieces but puzzle the rest CRS is fine, except one casuality CRS s GRADE. The rest mosura and hino and crescent are healthy.

    Any advice or precaution require? your inputs and advice highly appreciate.

    Current water parameters

    PH = 6.5
    KH = 4
    GH = unknown
    Amonia = 0
    Temp = 23

    Tank planted with Nana, us fisidden, Carpet Grass.

    That is shocking usually the cherry is much more hardy then CRS. I suspect the batch of cherry's are not good when you first bought them.

    hmm hi there, could it be over crowding of shrimps and due to poor circulation of tank? just a thot

    Bro,

    The tank size 2 1/2 Feet, still have plenty space to go but you may right, i will monitor and see. any recommendation bro?

    Whats the filtration used?
    Have you checked your nitrate levels? If it's more than 80ppm, expect deaths

    hello my ph is 6 . and my 50 cherries are doing fine. but just wondering how to increase the ph to 6.5 or wads the more desirable ph?

    I would prefer to keep the pH at above 6.5 but that depends on what else your cherries are sharing the tank with

    to increase pH, use coral chips or those fancy pH liquids

    my nano tank cherry died on me when I woke up one day....all turn bright red and boraras are doing fine

    sudden death sydrome for shrimp? all other live-stock still healthy till today

    Perhaps your temperature is too low for the cherries. I would say 25C may be more comfortable for both species

    I don't recommend you increase PH using any of the above suggestion since you are keeping CRS. Using chemicals and coral ships may result in you losing all your CRS.

    Inject less CO2 into the system......and if you familiar with the formula, use baking soda.

    CRS prefer PH between 6.0 to 6.8.
