Best if you can post your tank spec and let see what might be the cause.
My tank spec is as follow:
4 ft tank
2 55W FL
CO2 2-3 BPS
fishes are mainly cadinal tetras
around 50 plus yamato shrimps
assorted plants from leafy one to moss type (still trying to identify the names)
You do not have enough light but once you increase light you need to increase CO2 as well.
I use 2x55W for 2ft tank![]()
Thanks for the advice. Shall add more lights and monitor hows the outcome.
Do not be obsessed with bubbling! As long as your plants are growing, it is fine!
More lights, you will need more fertilizers, more water change to 'reset'. And more changes of getting algae if things get our of control.

Amount of plants in the tank also matter. You can't expect it to bubble if it's the only lone plant in the tank.
