i split my 2ft into two only.. i think 3 section is possible, but i still feel 2 section is better.....
hi guys, it seems like the apisto thrend is back.. i also itchy hand want to keep apisto again.. i have a 2ft tank still have not yet decide what fish to focus on..i was thinking of splitting up the tank using dividers into 3, each having 20x30x36(LxBxH) space.. you guys think this is workable? or is this size too small ? i have been told that its possible for less agrassive species like the agasizzi.. or maybe 30x30x36cm size is safer?
thanks.

Too small to split a standard 2ft into 3 partitions, unless its a 45cm width 2ft tank.

Hi EvolutionZ, to split 2 feet into 3 sections are tiny space. I suggest focus on one or two species. It will definitely work if you house a pair in a 2 feet tank. Chances of them doing well is higher too.

2 feet my suggestion is not to split it. One pair per tank works very well. Splitting them up may result in many extraneous implications.
Cheers!

If you had no choice but to split into smaller compartments! You better set up lots of small hidden place e.g. many small caves, some dried leaves on the base or Java plants etc for the fishes to hid in case of aggression.
