    Hi all,

Can cooling fan be on for 24/7 and will not cause fire to the house? I am using cooling fan 3000 by ANS.

    Thanks,

    Re: Cooling fan

If you want it to work at best then leave it on 24hrs a day, 7 days a week.
I see no potential problem, at most the fan would get warm.

Just see that wiring to the fan is proper and of sufficient load rate. Cables will get hotter when worked non stop, and a slightly bigger cable would be much cooler.

For the aquarium fans that I am using. Sunsun brand and Mr Aqua, I don't even feel any heat dissipated from them. Don't think overheating is an issue.

    Re: Cooling fan

The heat is more likely to be from the AC/DC adapter than from the fan motor. Even then, it is not likely to be dangerous in normal circumstances. Mine was on 24/7 till it died on me.

Do not worry, my fan runs 24 x 7 too. So far so good.
