    Anyone have an idea on the lighting recommendation for a paludarium setup?
    Have a 1ft L x 1 ft B x 2ft H setup in mind.

    Looked at a few 1ft PL sets and it seem that I can get a max of 36W only.
    T5 do not come in 1 feet...

    I'm seriously considering a 70W MH pendant. Is it overkill?

    Retrofitted my Ikea lamp with a 24W CFL light.... 6500K





    ....does it look bright enough for my up coming 30cmX30cmX45cm paludarium? Still thinking hard about the 70W MH pendant.

    No land critters (CO afraid that she may need to handle escaped froggies or lizards )
    Some guppies, ramhorns, ottos, shrimps...

    This will be mainly a carnivorous plants tank (sundews, pitcher, pings) with high light and humidity.
