Don't think super glue is aquarium safe.
Don't think super glue is aquarium safe.

Super glue does not cause any trouble that's from my experience. I have used super glue to attach bloblitis, fern, anubias to wood / stone / ceramic.
The only negative I can post about super glue is that it is not transparent and will look white at the thicker edges, but it is less visible than thread.
A rolling stone which has come to rest
hmm conflicting advices there but nontheless thanks for reply.I'd prolly boil the thing or something and soak it in water for a few day 1st maybe that would help? hehe
Its safer to use silicon that is safe for aquariums. I used that when I glue rocks to make into caves. Just remember to let it dry for a day before submerging it.
Super glue are sometimes used in a marine tank to stick coral to a rock. But it does affect the water some what to a degree that the skimmer skims more than usual. After a while, skimmer operation will return to normal. What it does in the water column I do not know.
If you've learnt, teach, if you have, give.
Don't walk behind me as I might not lead, don't walk in front of me as I might not follow. Walk beside me, as my friend.
Mohamad Rohaizal is my name. If it's too hard, use BFG. I don't mind.
Actually there are many European that using superglue to attached fern and moss. I have not try it my self, will try it soon![]()
Hmm still not sure if I should try. They'll probably go into a 1.5ft tank which I think may be a bit dangerous since the water volume is lower. Dunno which fish to sacrificeand no idea where to get food silicon also
