Pleco loves goldfish

May I know which pleco is compatible with goldfish? I heard bristlenose is compatible with goldfish, but I don't know the L-number. I am afraid I get the wrong pleco as different shops uses different common names.

I think it depends on your setup.
For instance, planted or not, with substrate or not, and so on.
I'd say in general, any BN or whiptails should be good.
One point to consider is if you want the pleco to clear algea or excess foods.
In the case of the former just look out for those that have a vegetarian diet.
For the latter any will do.

My tank is bare-bottomed and the plants I have are like a few strands of moss stuck to rocks? I would like them to clear the algae on the walls. Which do you recommend?

I believe most BN's will help on that.
For whiptails you need to get the "helicopter" one (local LFS name).
These should be the Sturisoma auruem.
I made the mistake once of assuming that all whiptails clear algae with the "red lizards".
These apparently left any algae alone...

Btw, get the common Ancistrus sp. 'Bristlenose Pleco'. The smallest you can find in C328 will be good. The younger they are the more hardworking. They are sold from 1" to 1.5"

I am registered there as well. I asked the uncle at C328. He's selling albino ones at $8. At that size, I tink it would have a lot of trouble just to stay outside of my goldfishs' mouths. Haha.
