anttz, the cherry shrimp is much smaller compared to the yamato, I suspect that the 'so-called' red yamato is either from the food they eat or dyed...

dun think the 3rd one is a green shrimp...

hahaha hold you shrimps [] [] ... yeah i've heard the shrimps from bioplast shows much red that NA ones ... probably inter-breed too much? ... i've read from a jap site saying cherry shrimps cannot incense or breed becomes weak (in japanese-style engrish) ... wonder it is true [:]

I think the redness of the shrimp is much depends on the water parameter, temperature and tank condition. I have 5 pcs in my 4fts and they are very reddish but those in my 2ft ain't that red.

    Hi,

If you want to see crystal red shrimp, go down to Tropical Fish Int'l at Lor. Harlus. They have abt. 10 pcs of crystal Red in 1 of the tank. Size is abt 1.5 cm.
Pricewise, you guess it right.[] $18 a piece.

Hi Simon, I have been looking for Mosquite/rhino shrimp for some time. You mentioned that they can be found in LFS around Singapore but are seasonal. Do you happen to see any recently? Are they in season now?

    Thanks
