moss not so green as compared to just brought from lfs. No base fert, just liquid fert and on a 2ft tank for a 1.5 ft tank for 10 hours. Co2 is 1 per 3 second.

Any ideas? No really dying but not as green and having algae on the glass.

    Re: moss dying

The high temperature make the mosses become brown, try to keep the temperature around 26 ºC or less.

    Cheers

    Re: moss dying

It depend on the moss, Spiky, Taiwan and Singapore should be ok at around 28-29 degree. I'be been growing them at that temperature before. Though they do appreciate cooler water, some grow differently in cooler water.

Co2 is 1 per 3 second IMO is too low for 2ft tank. how many watt is your light? How long it have been in your tank?

    Re: moss dying

High light and cool temperatures would contribute to the moss being green.
