Nice man..... did you rescape it again?
Looks really neat and healthy. Your SAE looks really gigantic now.

sherwin,
yep, rescape again. actually, i rescape all the time.![]()
yes, the SAEs are huge, so are all the tetras. they are in my tank since i started almost 2 yrs back. my rummy noses actually spawned a few times! [:]
ryan,
the 1' cube cost me abt $30 at Soon Heng Hougang. I'm using ikea lights. I don't recommend what i'm using now. there's another type from ikea that doesn't come with bulb. cost abt $10 if i remember correctly. get the electronic ballast screw on PL separately. can choose your own Wattage up to 50W i think.
yr rummynose spawn a few times... so lucky.. so what happen to the frys?
as with most tetras, they don't spwan at a spot. they scatter the eggs. i only notice that they are spawning when i saw a few rummynoses tailing the female. they are eating the eggs as the female spawn.saw some eggs stuck at the surface skimmer too. don't think it's possible to breed tetras in a community tank.
well, my congo did the same thing...
Hi Mok,
Nice to see your tank again.
I really appreciates you kindness to offer me those DD & MM, they r doing well in my 10gal tank.
alan,
saw your DD pics. very nice reddish tips!![]()
are they the batch from me?
in fact my DDs were given by Sherwin long time ago.
didn't buy the MMs either.![]()
hey mok... thanks for the info... but why do i have to get the E-ballast when i get the lights from ikea? should it come with the ballast already? and how much does your lights cost?
oh... where is that place in hougang?
thanks a mllion...
got mine 20/40w at $45 i think.. have to go home and check
