I would recommend a water change. What is in your setup that causes the rise in ammonia? If it is due to livestock, then I propose you lower the quantity. Could it be uneaten food?

You shouldn't have any readings of ammonia with a matured filter, unless your bioload level is higher than what your current beneficial bacteria colony can handle.

But in the short run, activated carbon, zeolite and seachem prime are short term solutions.

do a water change ... or you can add those kinda anti ammonia prodcuts ( not recommended for tank with livestock )
