I think according to cost-1. airticket, 2. transport, 3. accommodation-if it's a 5 day 4 night thing. Food obviously can be more or less depending if you plan to eat like a king or only have budget to eat sensibly.

although it is still quite a while till 17th October, but think for those who are planning to take a trip up with us, here is the tentative amount to pay out for the trip. Prices are all based on today's exchange rate of 1000Yen to 15SGD

1) Air tickets: S$780-S$912 (depending on the airlines and inclusive of taxes and surcharges)
2) Shinkansen (bullet-train ride to and fro Tokyo and Niigata): $165 (10,960 yen)
3) Local train and subway rides: about S$150
4) Accommodation in Tokyo: around S$220 per room per night (again depending on where you want to stay and number of stars)
5) Accommodation at Niigata: S$132 or 8800 yen per room per night (if staying at ADA designated hotel)
6) NA Party fee: S$132 or 8800 yen (if I can remember correctly)

Total: about S$1,250 + accommodation amount.

All in all, setting aside $3K should be good. Start saving.

Itinerary will be out from us when the dates are closer.

2) Is there any planning to visit ADA galary at Nigata? if so when?
3) When is the flight to Japan?
4) and when come back to Singapore?

Planning to bring my wife along but since she not in the hobby, I was planning to asked her to come after the ADA.

Hi guys,
It is confirmed that the Party will be on the 17th October 2009 and the visit to Niigata ADA Gallery on the 19th October.

The tentative itinerary will be as follows:
15th Oct or 16th Oct: Flight from Singapore into Tokyo
16th (For those flying in earlier): OTOT Sight-seeing
17th: ADA Party (from 12pm to 8pm) + Visit to Sky Aquarium @ Roppongi (from 9pm to late nite)
18th: LFS visiting!!!
19th: Bullet train from Tokyo to Niigata + ADA Gallery visit + Dinner party with all staff from ADA Japan (Amano-san included)
20th: Leave Niigata for Tokyo

Subsequently, some of you might want to lengthen your stay in Tokyo and do more sight-seeing. This is one of the most beautiful period to visit Japan with autumn starting to set in.

We will be flying out from Changi Airport on 15th and arriving on the 16th morning. We would suggest that the air-tickets be booked separately as all of us might have different start and end dates of your trip. But for those who wants to fly in with us, let us know, we will PM or email you on our flight details.

However, for the hotels, we are intending to do a group booking. Hopefully, can bring down the price further. We will start to collate the names of interested parties in August.
