sufficient for all high light plants
sufficient for all high light plants
think this may be dumb...
but will it be too much for low and medium light plants... does it affect them? or is it the more light the merrier they will be... thanks.
yes, but u can always shade the low light plants...
apologies.. what are some of the ways tt u will provide shade for them? esp if they are in the midst of high light plants...
u can use things like driftwood/other decoration or taller plants to block
Hmmm, there is no harm if you subject them to high light. E.g. I keep Java fern nearest to the light at the surface and they bubble like crazy. What I think the plant databases meant by "light requirement" is that it is the minimum amount of light tolerated by the plant, not the best condition it will grow in.[] [

If you want to shade them anyway, can try let some stem plants drape over the surface. Or try floating plants (e.g duck weed, salvania, woffia, frogbit etc). Many many ways...![]()
