    Hi all,

    Anyone try to scape with Cladophora aegagropila (marimo ball)
    Tying the algae onto small rocks or driftwood.

    but why marimo ball? that's kinda...errr....amateurish...don't you think?
    LOL...just kidding.....but seriously...nothing in nature is looking THAT round

    try fissiden on rock instead....similar effect but look way better!!

    nice meeting you too.
    what i meant was to tear the ball apart and tie it around driftwood and rocks.
    not too sure if it is possible.

    yah, fissiden on rocks are nice too. will try that on my next scape

    i see....using the algae on wood and rock...that sound more interesting

    but i think these thing lack a bit of texture...it will appear kinda "smooth" on photo....so i doubt it will be better than fissiden....or even mosses...

    anyway....no harm trying....perhaps that's the next break through in aquascaping

    yes, in the old threads... some people have scaped with marimo balls before.

    think JadeIceGreen did a lake theme.
    and Ranmasatome did a really tiny one .
