The size of the fry will depend on the size of the species, for the bigger ones like cacatuoides, elizabathae and etc... the fries can be up to 0.8 inch or more, but for the smaller ones like diplotaenia, the fries are much smaller.

It also depends on their diet (live feed normally enhances growth), and the frequency of their meals. The tank size used to raise them also might play a part as well.
Adoketa, Breitbinden, Paciquamis, Diplotaenia, Elizabethae, Mendezi, Inka, Agassizi, L046, L066, Crystal Red Shrimps
Bit is possible to grow that big, or even bigger, as mention if the tank space bigger, they are known to grow bigger too.
My bit fries are around 1 cm at 1.5 months. Looks mine is on the small side. Maybe because I separated the fries too early (1 week plus). They said that if fries stays longer with their mom, the fries grows faster.
Currently keeping:
Planted Tank
Axelrodia riesei - Ruby Tetra
Nannostomus trifasciatus - Three-lined Pencilfish
Apistogramma agassizii "Tefe"
On a side note, I am thinking how big the fries have to be so that it will be able defend itself and not taken as snack by the adult Apisto or other fish of cardinal tetra size?
