think they need to mature alittle inorder to know the male from the females
Just a question about those beautiful emperor tetras. Can they be differentiated even when young from the extension of the caudal fin, etc? or do they not have the sexual differences when young? asking this bcos i saw a tankful of emperor tetras going for 50cents each at No.63 Pasir Ris Farmway.. but all of them don't have the features of a male (extension at the caudal fin)
Anyway, saw a few really BIG emperor tetras at PetSafari's biggest tank... whao.. they sure are beautiful.
