Filter for 2ft tank

Hi bros,

need help here,

i have a tank of size 24" (w) x 9 (d)" x 12" (h).. which works out to be around 46litres.

So, do you think eheim 2213 flowrate will be too strong for this tank?

Its a planted shrimps tank.

I am using a eheim with flowrate 600l for my 2ft shrimp tank too..
Depending on what outflow you are using, lily pipe or rainbar, you can redirect the flow to have minimal disturbance on the base

Not at all. Remember plants will impede the water flow too, so I often get a more highly-rated filter than recommended.

The 2213 should be just right for your planted 2ft tank.

I think Ehiem 2213 will be great for 1 2ft....cheaper alternative, I will recommend the Atman CF600
