    i bought this packet of 10 blue shrimps from c328 today however i cannot id which breed are they.they look exactly like cherry red shrimp just that they are blue in color.anyone bought this shrimp b4?and can tell me what shrimp is this?

    I think the packaging itself should have label the name of the shrimps. You get the shrimps from C328, I think most likely is blue shrimps. Do take note, the colour of the shrimps may change to a bit brownish in colour after conditioning/acclimatise to your tank.

    Y618 also selling it but labeled it, as blue cherry shrimp.

    i saw some have white straps but some looks like tiger shrimp becus very dark in color.the packet itself labeled it as blue shrimp but are they suitable to mix with crs?cus when i ask the aunty she somehow dunno but just reply me they not agressive

    Blue shrimps and CRS can be keep together. They will not cross-breed.

    From what I know 'Blue Shrimp' is a neocaridina and probably Neocaridina heteropoda "wild" and so its related to the Red Cherry Shrimp which is Neocaridina Heteropoda var. Red.

    It is belived that its blue in colour because it has been fed or injected with a permanent blue die. This is implied by the fact that it does not breed true i.e. none of the offsprings are blue. Instead the offsprings are greenish / brownish in colour or in other words look like Neocaridina heteropoda "wild". Here's more information about it.
