    Re: 3Ft maiden scape

    Hi all,

Been down with cloudy water and yellow water this few days. I realise i completely forgot to soak the DWI thought ADA wood no need to soak!?!?!?!?!?or am i wrong!?!?!?!?

I did a 90% water change yesterday but water turned yellow again today.Looking into some alternatives.Heard Seachem purigen can solve this problem.any bro with experience on this product?

Anyway, took some pictures after water change.Still need alot of improvement though.

Any advice on what plants to use at the back in the center?
I got a piece of nice DW and hoping to grow some spiky or fissidens on it.
But hopping to grow some taller plants like MM.Any comments welcomed~

Is that glosso ? Glosso creeps very fast. In no time, it will spread outside the boundary. So you might need to think of a way to prevent it from spreading into the sand.

    Updates:

    2weeks

The HG has started to spread quite wildly! So is the glosso
Added a DW tied with fissidens to fill up the cente-back portion
Also added 2 yamatos to combat some hair algae~hope they don't mess up the soil

Looks like your water has cleared up pretty well.
Is your diffuser just below your filter intake? Wouldn't it cause an airlock in your filter?

I suggest switching out the java fern at the back for maybe narrow leaf java fern? Throws off the scale

Yeap water cleared up really well thanks to seachem purigen
Hmm....i think the bubbles will be too fine to cause an airlock...

    Re: 3Ft maiden scape

    Its a little too late..
But I would suggest that you get more wood and place them in an angle that slopes from the left of the tank to the 'river'. This will add more character to your tank and stop the java ferns from being overpowering. It will also frame your hairgrass nicely.

At the right side that is planted with glosso, I would replaced them with some more wood or tall plants. It will actually be better if the 'river' is placed more to the left. From the picture it looks to be too far right and thus your limited space on the right.

There are many ways to go about in a 3 feet.. looking forward to seeing how this scape matures.

    (I want a 3 feet! lol)
