    Hey zongwei21,

Though i only managed to witness this one time off event so far,
I had seen one of my crs "moulting" by accident.
I happened to be walking past my tank and happily sat down to observe their "shrimpy" behaviour when i noticed one bending over, with its tail near its head. Out of curiousity i went closer to take a look.
The next thing i knew, the head seemed like it was peeling off from the rest of body, then wham!!!.. it burst out from the old shell and darted away.!!What was left was the empty shell and the hole at the junction of the head and back.
Prior to that i noticed it kept "scratching" the top of its shell near the head and occasionally bending over

u will know when u start seeing shrimps getting curl up alot of times and you will see a fine transparent line in between its head and its body. That means their shells are ready to get peel off and after a few days you will see an empty transparent shell.
