How to do Overflow tank w/o drilling hole?

I would like to find out if there is any way to do overflow tank without drilling a hole in the tank? Any equipment or accessories to do it?

There are readily available overflow boxes such as reef octopus available at some lfs. Alternatively you can search this forum, there was a thread about diy overflow box
