Corydoras Panda Dorsal Fin Fading!?

Hi all,

I recently bought 6 corydoras panda and noticed 2 of them look a bit different. Their dorsal fins are transparent?! (instead of black)

Is it because of some in-house breeding? or is there something wrong with the pandas?

Grateful for any advice. Thanks!

Hi,

I have attached photo of the corydoras panda with transparent dorsal fin. So far only 2 out of 6 have this problem. They seems to be behaving normally though. So wondering whats wrong?

I don't have direct experience with C. panda.
But I would hazard a guess, female of the species?
You can check the ventral fins to sex them.
Males having sharper fins while females have rounded fins to better hold the eggs in a "pouch".
