Ottos are very strange really.
Same thing happen to me also.
Had an instance where I had an extra otto appear out of nowhere lor.
Really, I'm not joking.
Maybe I remembered wrong how many ottos i actually have lol.
Maybe jump?
i have a newly setup 2 feet tank ...
6 pieces of moss on driftwood ,
put in an otocinclus , went out for several hours , came back and it was missing....
searched the whole tank , took out all the driftwood
checked the canister , all nothing .... the otto was around 3cm .
if it died should at least have the body right ?
any one has any idea how it just dissapeared ??![]()

They usually do that when they feel uncomfortable, remember they can hide jusy about everywhere so you really have to look.
