Come to Redhill wet market in the afternoons. One of the small shops in the market is selling in packet of $1 each. They come on even days. I can check out the stock for you in advance if you pm me before coming.

Hey everyone,
About 2 months ago I could get this stuff in most places, now I can't find them at all. Yes, this is to feed some of my fishes. Some places have been selling what they thought was daphnia but on closer inspection - I found out they were baby brine shrimp. So please help out as some of my fishes are quite finiky eaters when it comes to food. Thanks in advanced.
ZANE.

Really depends on where you stay, so atleast we can intro you to the nearest lfs nearby your house.
Or maybe you may find bros who is also staying around your place and both of you can share the boon if it's too much.![]()

anyone tried to cultivate daphnia?

another other place other tehn je217 in west area?

From what I've observed, the stall only has live daphnia on Tuedays, Thursdays, and Saturdays. A dollar for a pack. He does not have bba (baby/adult). If you are staying nearby, the shop at henderson (soon heng) sells adult live brine shrimps on Fridays after 4pm.

Yes, i cultivated it last time, but very 麻烦。
you need to cultivate green water first, must make sure the water is green enough. put your hand 15cm into the water, if u cannot see it, the water is green enough.
then u set up a separate daphnia tank ( i use a 45x35x20cm tub). the water cannot be too deep, at most 15 cm. surface area is more important than depth.
try not to use pump, the tube may leach out toxins that will kill the boon. instead, it is better to put a lot of water plants.
When u first pour the boon into the tank, about 3/4 will die by the next few days. you must siphon them out.
For feeding, feed only small amounts of green water the first few days (about 30ml). after the population increases, add more and more green water. A stable population should need 100ml of green water a day.
IMPORTANT: keep it away from any chemicals. there was one time a drop of fish medication dripped into my boon tank, next day all dead.
