    Hi Guys!

I just set up a low tech 2 feet tank. Do give me comments on how to improve.. haha~

Quite lame, I actually gave the set up a name.

    Plants

    1. Quite a lot of Taiwan Moss
    2. A little Subwassentang
    3. Windelov (Ferns)

    Fishes

    1. 20++ Cherry Shrimps
    2. 10 Snakeskin Endlers
    3. 2 Huge Bronze Corycats
    4. 1 Huge Albino Corycats
    5. 1 Otocinlus

    Tank's Condition

    1. Temperature Set - 24 to 30 Degrees Celcius
    2. Lighting - Approximately 8 Hours a Day
    3. No Ferts, No CO2

Any advice to give me? I hope my moss will grow like mad! Also, my fishes can breed and breed. =)

As for the scape, I am still quite amateur in this area. Hoping that some professionals will give me some advice~

Hi theanswerseeker, im sure your endlers will love the dense layout of your ferns and moss and breed like rabbits. The bubbles at the back makes it look like a submerging setup under water. Good job, as for improvements, consider introducing CO2 into your tank for plant growth?

Really? My endlers will really breed like rabbits? wow, so happy to hear that!
CO2 is really way too costly for me now. I always wanted to add CO2 as well..

But what I worry most is that the explosion.. I heard many stories regarding their explosions. Damn scary~

    Very cute and nice setup.

Eh...carbon dioxide explosion?...dont think I heard it before. You must be referring to other type of gases...

nice idea with the bubble backdrop.. but pumping air will lower the CO2 concentration in the water (might not be a big issue sinceyour setup is mostly on moss and low demanding plants)
Breeding endlers... I was just as excited as you when my endlers first breed, now I am having headache on where to house them... hahah

hahaha! Ya, i was reading online and realised that pumping air will give a lot of problems! haha~ I decided to only on it for about an hour after lights off at night. It will clear off the oil on the top~ very messy. hahah

    interesting medieval setup.
the idea of the moat was nice, might want to think of ideas to make the bridge more realistic

cool~ as for the bridge, u got ideas?
I am currently waiting for it to grow more. Like lushier and greener.
Btw, I may be adding Harlequin Rasboras to the tank. About 50 of them... Do you think it will be almost impossible for them to breed?

Or do you think having endlers are of a better choice??

Harlequins are imho too big for a 2ft tank. The endlers are a better choice.
