    Hi guys.
Any idea why my tiger lotus melt after placing in the tank for less than a week?
What would be the root cause?

    Thanks.

as long as you see new leaf, that should be ok. Not sure how bad the condition is, but you should trim the melted leaf.

    Hi there.
Just finished my water parameter measurement.
Now the water KH & GH is in the average zone.

Next phase is to monitor the plant grow.....

    Re: Melting Tiger Lotus !

    Hi guys.....
It seems that my tiger Lotus still continue melting.....

Now that my water GH & KH is average....
Any idea what could be the root cause?

Do you think that amount of lights affect this?
    Currently I'm using 2PL 36W.

As I can see that my other plants seems to be not affected by this wattage of light....
But i do a study and is mentioned that Red Tiger Lotus does require stronger lighting.

    Please kindly comments...

    THanks.

    Hi bro.....
After all this while....just to let you know that i have discovered my tank lighting is not sufficient for this hardy plant......

Now increased my light and see some grow.....
    Hope it will last long....

    Happy planting.

Previously only have 2x36W Pl light....
Now include another set 2x36W PL....

Things seems to be improving but still need to monitor...

    Thanks.
