did you cycle the tank before introducing the fish?
i think if u did not, that would probably be the highest possibilty..

i was trying to recreate my team to be that of south american river type..with drift woods making e water brownish
but i realise my tetras dissaperaing one by one not to mention i cant find most of their carcass
thus i seek the seniors here for your help in what kind/type of water will be good for tetras and which dirt eater are recommended for cohabiting with them.
i have 2x cory 1x normal pleco and have this 2 fish which i dont koe the name, its yellow n black stripes swims damn fast and a lowered mouth.it alway appear on the fish food for bottom dwellers

Sounds like a clown loach...? How big is he? If the fish is big enough, it can eat your tetras, that would explain why they vanished. Also, they could have died and the loach/ other critters ate them, or they got sucked into the filter. Hard to know without more info, or pics.

That fish could be a leporanus, how big is it? Whats the body shape? If its that it will get a foot long and will eat anything that will fit into its mouth.
