Clip on are for small tank around 1 ft. Aqua Zonic Sirius LED which is placed over the tank have longer fixtures for bigger tanks. Seaview have the longer ones. NA sells them also but not sure if they carry such long one.
Have not used this brand before so can't advice on the effectiveness on plants but visually it should be quite bright.
