poison u mean before. i tin canister filter is better for shrimps.

I also find canister better. For IOS, how do you prevent the shrimp from jumping to the filter portion as I know IOS water level must be high in order to let it work.

I have used jojoe's custom made IOS tank 1.5ft to keep crs before afew years ago. My crs population multiplied from 20 to approximately 200 plus crystal reds in a 1.5ft tank using fan to keep the water cool with little or no casualty. It might have been the gravel (ADA Amazonia) or other factors to contribute to the success but nonetheless, IOS was still a contributing element.

thanks people for yr valuable suggestions. me got a 4ft tank during the aquarama.. got it at a super price even i am shock too bad cannot mention here but it is less than 6 pieces of blue notes. think will stick to my canister plus a chiller. will update my nex tank soon.
