Hi Everyone,

Can someone identify the "L" number for the "Gold Pleco" pixs
by Alanng ?
If it is available here in S'pore, what size and price and anybody or LSF
selling them ???

Should be Parancistrus aurantiacus also known as Chubby Pleco, Rubber Pleco , Xanto, 24K 黄金达摩 ... no L number...

Not commonly found and chances are will be snap up the moment it reaches the fish shop.

No problem. Not sure about pre-ordering, but from what I understand, this fish needs lots of experience to groom and take care, maybe you can start with some other more currently available Plecos like L114, Sunshine Pleco or Mango Pleco...

there is the normal variety which is greenish brown (khaki colour) whereas Xanto is the golden colour morph (thus more expensive)...

they are quite comon (the greenish form), C328 brings them in from time to time..

Bingo, I could not help much as I do not know in detail about the Xanto until this show. It is a special specimen that only a specialist can make it a pure golden-yellow-whitsh hue. This specimen will turn greenish-black-charcoal is condition is not met.
