How much is the ikea timer? Didn't know they sell timer too. Mine is cheap type cost like 10 to 12 bucks only. Oldest one already serving me for 4 years.

Am using Ikea's timers also for the past 6 months +, so far so good leh... [Keeping my fingers crossed.] & yes, they are considered very cheap if compared to those branded ones [The Ben etc...]

Bro dnsfpl, maybe you like to share what problems you encountered with your Ikea's timers? Thanks!

Re: what timer are you using?

just tried diehl digital timer for my MH...also have theBen timer....so far both did not give me any trouble at all.

Diehl digital timer is supposedly able to take the higher load of switching on higher power stuff like MH or large T5HO

Re: what timer are you using?

    I have 2 timers.

TheBen just died on me last night. It lasted 8 full years - first 6 years on PLC and the remaining 2 years on T5HO. It was on a "on-off-on-off" schedule daily.

The other one (not sure of the brand) is still working after 7.5 years
